Muslim Brotherhood Supporters Storm Stage at U of London A speaker in opposition to the Brotherhood in Egypt had to be escorted to safety by security guards at the event.

Muslim Brotherhood supporters stormed a stage at the University of London, forcing a speaker with ties to the “Tamarod” movement and other guests to be whisked from the stage and escorted to safety by security guards.
The Tamarod, or “Rebel,” movement initiated the protests which ultimately swelled to more than 30 million Egyptians and forced the ouster of Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.  Morsi represented the Muslim Brotherhood’s political party in Egypt.
The speaker, Mohamed El-Nabawy, who opposes the Brotherhood, had been invited to give a talk at a lecture hall at the University of London’s Bloomsbury School of Oriental and African Studies by the Palestinian Society.
A spokesman for the organizers blamed outsiders for the incident and apologized to the attendees. He also  said, “While we fully respect and understand the highly-charged context of any discussion on contemporary Egyptian politics, we believe that the disruptions pre-empted any possibility of fruitful exchange.”
To date, the lecture has not been rescheduled. The following is video footage of the event:
